Troubleshooting TASSIMO T45
Appliance not working / No symbols lighting up
No power supply
Check that the appliance is properly plugged into the power supply. If it's properly plugged in, then make sure the electrical socket is working.
Machine brews but no drink dispensed
Water tank was removed during brew / Air in the system
Replace the water tank in the appropriate position in your TASSIMO machine. Start a cleaning process with the Service T DISC.
The float in the water tank is stuck
Clean the water tank and ensure the float can move.
Automatic mode not working / Appliance remains in stand-by mode
No T DISC inserted
Check if T DISC has been inserted.
The barcode could not be detected
Clean the barcode reading window and try again or smooth the barcode on the T DISC with your thumb. If that doesn't work, use another T DISC.

Automatic mode skipped, appliance goes straight to Manual mode
The barcode could not be detected
Clean the barcode reading window. If that doesn't work, use another T DISC. If the problem persists, you can still prepare the drink by holding down the start/stop button.
The quality of the foam/crema has deteriorated
The drink outlet is clogged or dirty
Remove the drink outlet from the brewing unit and detach the piercing unit. After cleaning everything thoroughly, reassemble the parts and replace them in the brewing unit.
Brewing unit cannot be securely closed
Piercing unit/T DISC holder is not properly inserted
Insert the T DISC holder and piercing unit properly.
The T DISC is not inserted properly
Reinsert the T DISC and make sure it is properly positioned. Ensure T DISC is not damaged or pierced in the wrong place before commencing brewing.
The brewing unit is not properly closed
Push the clamp down firmly until it audibly clicks into place.
Water dripping from the brewing unit
The T DISC is damaged or leaky
Stop the brewing process, press the start/stop button, wait until the orange light comes on, remove the T DISC and clean the brewing unit.
- Do not use chemically softened water. Be sure water is not treated with sodium based softener.

My Suny machine recently blew the fuse in the plug, I replaced it and all was good. Now a few weeks later the Sam thing has happened again. I can't see an obvious way to dismantle it to check for water ingress. It'll either be that or a short circuit from the power cord onto the board.
I've ordered a new one from Amazon for 35 quid, in the meantime has anyone had similar and been able to repair it?

Just bought tassimo suny , not working , got amber and middle light on won’t go out , tank full , disc in , tried 100 times any ideas what’s wrong not had a single drink yet , one step away from refund at moment tbh

Just bought a tassimo suny , and tried to set it up as instructions but it’s got the top amber light on and water red light on , but red light staying on tank full , disc in . Nothing working at all not even had one drink yet was a present but they gave it me back because they tried everything to get it working to no avail , think I’ll be looking for a refund if it cannot get sorted

My nachine has no power. Plug fuse changed and still no power. Is it goosed

Hi my coffee machine is dispensing the milk but not the coffee I’ve cleaned it discalced it but I’m wasting loads of coffee pods
