Why is first-time PDF generation so slow?
I liked this article, so I wanted to print the PDF version. I clicked the PDF button and waited... waited... waited...
It took almost 30 seconds to display. Is it generated on the fly? Is Amazon WS just being used to store the content or is it actually generating it? The PDF had a footnote saying that it had been generated Oct 11. If it had actually been previously generated, why did it take so long to render?
