Introduction

Follow the steps below to brew a great cup of coffee.

  1. Turn your Tassimo machine on and make sure it has sufficient water in the water tank. When ready, the Stand-by icon will light up. Place a suitable cup on the stand, according to the type of drink you will be brewing. If necessary remove the cup stand.

  2. Select your T DISC. Open the brewing unit by lifting the lid. Insert the T DISC with the barcode side down. Be sure the tab of the T DISC is secured in the slot to the right.

  3. Close the brewing unit by firmly pushing the lid down until it clicks into place. Close the brewing unit by firmly pushing the lid down until it clicks into place.

  4. The stand-by light will flash while reading the bar code. When the Automatic icon lights up (green), your Tassimo machine is ready to brew. Press the start/stop button. For a stronger taste and a smaller drink, press the start/stop button at any stage during the brewing process to stop the process early.

    • For a milder taste and a larger drink, wait until the Automatic brewing process has finished. The Manual icon will light up; press and hold the start/stop button to manually extend the brewing process.

    • Sit back and enjoy your hot and tasty beverage.

  5. Wait until the orange stand-by light is on before removing the used T DISC. The green light indicates your TASSIMO machine is still in use.

    • If you do not wish to prepare more drinks, we recommend that you turn off your TASSIMO machine using the on/off switch.
