I Love my Bosch Tassimo Coffee machine! To keep it clean and great tasting coffee! Very simple; change your water filter cartridge every 40 gallons of water or in my case, I make one cup of coffee per day, therefore I change my water filter cartridge every 6 months 👍on the dot and don’t forget when you place that water filter cartridge needs to be rinsed 3 times, so you fill up with tap water and let it filter out in the sink, repeat this 3 times and just fill it up with tap water again and put it back in the machine it will be ready to use, and of course you want to use your yellow cleaning disk on the weekends! so it cleans the inside of the Bosch machine as you press the start button like if you’re making a cup of coffee but it’s just clear water and your machine will be cleaned from the inside and you will keep enjoying a fresh delicious tasty cup of coffee, it’s a win-win situation your machine thanks you for it and you enjoy a delicious cup of coffee Every time

My Tassimo did not come with any instructions.

I have never done the cartridge sterilization. Do I leave the filter in the the water container? for weeks. Do I have to wait for weeks to make a cup of coffee.

Please disregard the negative comments. Those are obviously from someone with a personal problem. I spent 25 years creating user guides and training for new system implementations. These are wonderful instructions. I appreciate the photos. This guide shows that you understand that your audience may have different skill levels or different models of the Tassimo. For instance, I have an older system and couldn’t find any YouTube videos that included details about the filter indicator. I was pressing the Start button but it wouldn’t reset the bars every time. Your tutorial was just what I needed. Thanks again!

I found these instructions very helpful, never having replaced the water filter cartridge before.

No instructions came with the Tassimo for changing the water filter.

Thank you!

Perfect replacement description thanks ! Never ceased to be amazed how people can be negative on these sites, it's almost like they are desperate to be seen to be far too clever for simple instructions.

... I am wondering who we are talking to, here: to someone from Mars who never visited our planet or to someone who has been making coffee for the past 10 years?

- Is it really necessary to add a picture in front of "Press and hold the start button"?

- Has anybody watched a 6-year-old switching on a playstation? They can't read, but they can use any of these devices and press any button to switch them on!

- Aren't we insulting the user's intelligence here?

- Have we also considered _documentation costs_? Is it going to be printed? Is it going to be translated/localized?

- Additionally, is the documentation supposed to "go mobile"? How will it look like on an Android phone?

- BTW, this paragaph "Every two weeks from activation, one bar will disappear. If no bars are visible after eight weeks and the arrow is blinking, replace the filter cartridge. To remove the filter cartridge, pull it upwards on its tab." should not be placed under "Activate the Maeva memo display" but under something like: "Replacing the filter cartridge"

Thanks for your attention,

You are incredibly rude. This is not a dissertation. It’s a simple guide to cartridge replacement. You need to go back to Mars.

A red bullet in Step 6. The instructions are a little bit inconsistent. For example, in Step 3: "It must make a light audible click." is not an instruction/step. Also, in Step 6, the following bullet is not an instruction (you cannot perform the step):

The blinking dot in the lower right corner tells you that the memo display is working. All four bars should be visible.

This is more like a troubleshooting tip than a step:

May be add after step 6, a troubleshooting tip:

Every two weeks from activation, one bar will disappear. If no bars are visible after eight weeks and the arrow is blinking, replace the filter cartridge. To remove the filter cartridge, pull it upwards on its tab.
